Everything priced in USD.
(I use Paypal, Stripe, Ko-fi, or Venmo)
I work at a base of $25/hr, flat rates will be quoted depending on the size of the project.I offer services for a variety of Character-based art. For people I've known for a while and am willing to collaborate with, I’m also open to experiment with various other projects like comics, book covers, music album art, merch, and such. (These would be very "throwing spaghetti at the wall" projects though, so expect low-ball quotes.)My work schedule is 3 days a week, setting aside a max total of 6 hours a day. Workload may be split up across multiple days, especially if I am working on a project requiring more than a single sketch. When commissioning me, you're buying slots of my time and creative energy, which I have to manage on top of a day job and fatigue issues. I need to sleep a lot...Please Note:I am not responsible for any budgeting issues on your end. Do not try to guilt me into lowering my prices. Remember that art commissions are not mass-manufactured. They are a luxury service, you are paying another human being to do highly specific work for you, and it is on you to handle your disposable income responsibly. If you blow your utilities bill on me without my knowledge, that's on you. Please take care of yourself though. Seriously.

Terms of Service

Rights
1. By commissioning me, you are purchasing my artist labor only. I retain all copyrights over my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, or use the image as samples for sales/self-promotion, unless otherwise agreed upon.
2. My art may not be used for NFTs whatsoever. This is non-negotiable.3. I will respect your request for a private commission that is not posted publicly, just let me know.4. I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.5. The commissioner MUST be at least 18 years old.6. The commissioner may not claim credit for my art. Please properly credit me by linking to my social media handle @leembeanz, this Carrd, or use the provided watermarked file when posting the full artwork publicly.7. The commissioner has the right to use the artwork for non-commercial purposes (i.e. unmonetized, personal use icon, wallpaper, art print, site layout, etc).8. Commercial purposes (i.e. anything with the intend to monetize, such as promotional art/assets for content creation like Twitch streaming or Youtube, merch, etc.) must be negotiated and will incur higher fees specific to the project.9. The commissioner retains the rights to their Intellectual Property. (Your characters, basically.)Turnaround Time
For my own health and wellbeing, as well as the quality of the art, I will only accept commissions that require no deadline. However, I will outline a general turnaround for your own consideration below.
-Unless I'm particularly busy one week or there's a queue, Single Sketches or Lineart are very likely a 1-2 day turnaround. Sketch Pages or Single full body character pieces may take a few days to 2 weeks after payment, whereas larger projects may take much longer depending on its scope, while also allowing breaks in between to ensure quality.-On most projects, turnaround will be fairly quick, I’m naturally a fast draftsman. But there are times where I may have creative burnout or tanking mental health, so I will give you a heads up and be transparent about that when it drastically affects wait time (ex: sketches or single character pieces taking over a month), but I do promise to get the commission done.Payment and Refunds
-The commissioner MUST pay first before I begin work on the commission. Partial payment is negotiable, however the commissioner will not receive the unwatermarked, high resolution artwork until full payment is made.
-Since I only accept commissions that require no deadline, and I'm trusting that you're budgeting yourself appropriately, I imagine refunds will be rare. However, If you've paid but I haven't started the commission then you will get a full refund. If I've started your commission, I will not refund the full amount, and it'll scale by $25 from the total, according to how far into the drawing process I am. If somehow I ghost you for 6+ months or something please whack me for a full refund :')Final Revisions
I will accept small revisions free of charge regarding color correction, tweaks to lineart, adding or removing minor elements (i.e. accessories or reworking a couple limbs) from the piece, but any major revision requiring me to redo multiple steps such as completely changing the outfit and/or pose after Lineart/Colors will incur additional fees. At that point we would have to redo the commission, basically.
If you want to workshop ideas then you'd be asking for design work, which is a very different process. And Much More Expensive.

Guidelines

-I will draw Original Characters and Fanart, including Human, Humanoid, Animal, and Anthro. Mecha/Robots only if they’re simple in design, something like Emerl from Sonic Battle should be fine. I pretty much won’t draw anything like a Gundam. I prefer simple designs in general and may refuse, suggest alternatives to, or simplify intricately detailed designs, such as things like FFXIV armor.-I mostly draw fictional characters, but I’m open to drawing real people, with explicit permission, for things like a Pokemon Trainer-sona. I don’t really do realistic portraits. I'm not comfortable drawing Celebrities/Youtubers/Etc. unless asked of themselves.-Please keep background details simple, or provide a suitable reference. I’m not much of an environment artist. I won’t draw highly detailed sweeping cityscapes and the like. I'm simply Not Strong Enough...if it's something like a character standing in a field with minimal architecture or sitting by a tree, that’s totally fine. I'm better with abstract or organic, fluid landscapes.-I won’t draw Gore, Hate Speech, or anything I'm just not passionate about or vibe with. Again, I have the right to refuse any commission. I am open to NSFW, preferably softcore. No non-con. I'm really only comfortable with more hardcore explicit stuff for friends/mutuals.

Process Breakdown

The general process will be:-You contact me through email or DMs of whatever social media I'm on.-We discuss details and if I accept, I may ask for an email version of your commission details if needed, then I'll send an invoice/payment link.-After you pay, I'll get to work on your commission when I can.-I will send frequent WIPs to get your input and approval. Take as long as needed to review, I want to make sure you're content with what you're getting!-After final review of the finished piece, I'll send an email or reply to the initial one with relevant files attached, usually the full resolution unwatermarked PNG file and a lower resolution watermarked one, as well as any additional formats that are requested.

Initial Contact / Email Contents

Negotiations can be conducted through email or DMs, if its through DMs, I may ask for an email of some commission details after everything is settled, just for my own record-keeping.

If you plan to use the artwork as a desktop/phone wallpaper or specifically sized art print, let me know beforehand, so I can plan accordingly and format the piece to suit those. Also, if you need a cropped version for an icon, I can do that as well, free of charge.-Please provide an appropriate picture Reference* for original characters. Picrews and images from a character creator are relatively okay, additional references may be needed for flat color swatches and full body proportions.-I’ll send a quote once I’ve reviewed your request, and when we agree on pricing, I’ll send an invoice and get to work on your commission!

Commission Types

Sketches
Sketches will not go through a full review process, as the nature of these commissions are to be unpolished. This is also my main style, so sometimes I may fluctuate between different brushes or be experimental. You're always welcome to point to artwork of mine or give an example of another artist to give me an idea of what you want.
$25-50 Single Sketch: single character with rough linework that may include stray construction guide marks, can include limited color palette or flat colors + gradients. Scales from $25 bust or $50 full body. +$25 per additional character.$100 Sketch Page: single character with varying degrees of linework + sporadic colors + possible gradients. Includes a variety of busts and 1-2 full bodies. +$50 per additional character.

$25-50 Meme Redraw: I will redraw a provided meme with your choice of characters. I really love doing these <3
+$25 w/ color.

Full Piece
Anything more polished than a sketch will require full review (Basically just sending more than one WIP through each stage of the drawing process). You're allowed to choose no review for full pieces if you want the art to be a surprise after you approve the initial sketch, as well!
$100-150 Lineart: single character with clean linework, can include flat colors + gradients. Scales from $100 bust or $150 full body. +$50 per additional character.$250 Illustrated Scene: full body character with clean linework + full color + shading.
+$100 per additional character.

A 2D artist, Leembeanz specializes in digital and traditional mediums, with a focus on character design, concept art, and an eye for cinematography. They love to draw monsters and creatures from mythology. They have a passion for Anthropology and the contrast between traditional and modern aesthetics, dissecting the historical-social contexts of stories, our relationships to them, and the cyclical nature of what we read and write.Based in the Pacific Northwest, Leembeanz cultivated a love of art by being born to a Korean outsource animator. The earliest movie they can remember watching was Ghibli's Laputa, Castle in the Sky. A sequence lasting only a few seconds of debris falling during the climax of the movie, is one their parent supposedly worked on. Its fascinating how a little detail like that is their introduction to such a critically-acclaimed film. Its no wonder they'd fixate on animation and filmmaking. Their favorite movies from childhood were The Dark Crystal (1982) and a DVD of Sonic Underground. Which summarizes their range of taste quite succinctly. Whether a piece of media is well produced or poorly budgeted, they'll find something interesting about it.They also love bad puns and absurdist dry humor. They've been told they have great taste in music, too.
